Jimi had a plan.
Flowers. Twinkle lights in the forest. A photographer, and a sneaky story to make Reem think it was a totally normal day.
(spoiler: it wasn’t a totally normal day. It would be the day he would ask her to spend the rest of his life with him)

We started the “photo session” in the open fields of Lincoln Brick Park (with Jimi and I pretending to be strangers after actually having spending some of the afternoon setting up the surprise decor together).
The magic between them was electric, and I was counting the seconds until the Big Moment…
Finally, the twisting trail brought us to the spot that Jimi had put so much thought and love into. Under the archway of leaves, lights, and flowers, he gave her a rose and read to her a note expressing his love.
And then- the moment- all of us holding our breath!
And of course, she said yes!!
But the big surprise wasn’t over yet.. around the corner came family and friends who had driven from Canada to be with Jimi and Reem for this adventure!
Before we called it a night and I let the lovebirds and their family/friends go to celebrate, I spent a moment photographing the gorgeous ring and the amazing box that Jimi had made to house it!
Congratulations again, Jimi and Reem! It’s a magical road. <3
