“We went to Chicago for a weekend get away! Brad told me he wanted to take me out to dinner to celebrate my new job. We went shopping that day, he let me pick out a new dress to wear for dinner. 🙂 Later that evening he surprised me with dinner at the signature room in the John Hancock building on the 98th floor.
We enjoyed one of the best meals I have ever had complete with a bottle of champagne, custom menus, and a beautiful flower centerpiece. After dinner we made our way to Navy Pier, where we took a ride on the ferris wheel.
Once we got to the top he got down on one knee and popped the question!”

Beautiful story wedding Heather – I felt like I was there.
Really wonderful work – I especially loved so many of your black & white photographs that caught so much emotion and mood.
Groomsmen portrait is my favorite!
What a sweet wedding! I love the fall colors of the outdoor portraits!
Aw, I love the reactions to Nicole in her wedding dress (which is BEAUTIFUL on her!) and the b/w photo of her and her ladies. Really pretty wedding!
I love the bride’s reveal with her mother and grandmother! The first dance with the groom and his mom was so, so sweet, too.
Beautifully captured! I really loved the grandmother’s reaction to the bride on her wedding dress! Also, I’m curious about what is that gesture the bridesmaids are doing in one of the photos of them and the bride?
